ISO 9001:2015 & 14001:2015 Annual Recertification Audit Success

Office Meeting Room
Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd is delighted to announce that we have successfully passed, the external third year recertification audit for the ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 standards.

This year’s audit was a little different to previous years, being in the middle of the country’s 2nd lockdown of the year, it was carried out remotely. Whilst a steep learning curve for our Senior Management team, our experience of remote auditing was very positive, the feedback from the team was that they felt that by submitting the documentation in advance they were able to cover more ground than in a normal audit which meant they could gain more valuable feedback about the systems we have in place.

The 3rd year certification audit was carried out over 9th-10th November and yesterday we were delighted in the closing meeting to be signed of for the 4th year running without a single major and minor non-conformance. Quality & Accreditations Coordinator Kellie Pickett, who took over running the ISO systems in 2015 explains how by embracing the ISO processes including Risk & Opportunity, Planning for Changes Internal Auditing and the Corrective Action & Preventative Action Log the company has come a long way from the systems used when she joined the company 10 years ago.

She said, that passing this audit without a major and minor non-conformance is an amazing achievement for all at Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd and is a testament to all the hard work the entire team has put in, and confirms that the on-going due-diligence and time invested in Chas, Chas Premium Plus, Acclaim Accreditation, ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 has vastly improved both the internal working systems and the quality of service we are able to provide our customers.

On receiving the audit feedback General Manager Bryce Bellman commented; "The company, now in its 22nd year of operation, has been ISO Certified for over 10 years and each year our audits have gone from strength to strength. This is absolutely amazing, I think we are all of the understanding of how important this is to the business. Great work to all that assisted"

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us at Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd!
by Kellie Pickett 5 May 2024
Today, the team at Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd had the privilege of participating in Denefield School's Careers Day 2024. This event provided a unique opportunity for us to engage with bright young minds and share insights into the dynamic field of plumbing and maintenance. This year's event was particularly special for us as it allowed us to connect with students across all year groups and inspire the next generation of professionals. Our Director, Ricky Gale, led the charge, supported by Operations Manager Tony Williams, Accounts Assistant Donna Endean, and Quality Manager Kellie Pickett. Each team member brought their unique expertise and passion to the event, creating an enriching experience for the students. Throughout the day, the team engaged with students in meaningful discussions about the path to becoming a plumber. One of the most exciting aspects of our discussions was exploring the future technologies that await the next generation of plumbers. We delved into advancements such as smart plumbing systems, sustainable materials, and innovative tools that are set to revolutionise the industry. These technologies not only promise to make plumbing more efficient and environmentally friendly but also open up new avenues for innovation and career growth. A highlight of the day was the hands-on experience with the press gun, led by Tony and Ricky. The students' excitement and the brilliant results they achieved demonstrated the value of practical learning. A big thank you to Denefield School for the opportunity to participate in this inspiring event. The event not only allowed us to inspire young minds but also reinforced our commitment to community engagement and professional development. Engaging with the students and sharing our knowledge and passion was a rewarding experience for our team. Community engagement events like these are crucial for building a brighter future and fostering the next generation of leaders and innovators. We look forward to future collaborations and continuing to support the leaders of tomorrow. Together, we are building a brighter future.
